Up I was at the crack of dawn

had a stretch, gave a big yawn

getting all the family together

organising our things

putting on my leathers

then off I went with Jac and Ben

to meet the President at his den

we shot off down the highway to meet the rest of the gang

at Mobil ring road we had some breakfast and left with a big bang

we roared up to the shell and stopped for a bit

for anyone who needed a drink, feed or shit

hitting the highway heading up to Euroa for lunch

we met up with Knocka and chilled for an hour with the rest of the bunch

go to Everton after our long hike

then the gang from the south turned up on their bikes

had a few drinks late in the day

then Stevo, our Prez got up and had his say

I was honoured to be given my patch and start my journey as a member

if all goes to plan I should be a full Patriot by September

after all the congratulations and pats on the back

we went for a great feed, the missus, kids and the rest of the pack

then off to the beer garden to listen to the band,

mingle with the other until I could no longer stand

next morning proud as punch, wearing my vest

from the big night before and a long peaceful rest

we all got together to get our photo taken

then off to Wangaratta to see what breakfast was bake'n

we said our good luck and goodbyes

then headed back to Melbourne for another big ride

before heading into Seymour it started to rain

so we pulled on over to put our wets on by the roadside lane

hopped back on and off we all rode

in different directions we all headed on home

I would like to say thanks to all that attended the weekend of my nom's ride

I will hold my position as a Patriot with Honour and Pride.
